New in 2019 : Nodal Ninja MECHA - Automation for panoramic head serie R and Nodal Ninja 3
Nodal Ninja has just announced and released an automatic motorization module controlled by smartphone for R series heads or the Nodal Ninja 3 (MkI to MkIII).
With a manufacturing quality to which Nodal Ninja (Fanotec) has accustomed us, the MECHA module will therefore allow you to motorize and automate your panoramic shots (rotation + shoot). This engine, ordered from your smartphone, supports about 2 Kg of equipment, camera and lens included so we naturally think of the R series heads and the Nodal Ninja series 3 heads.... To make a long story short, I loved it!

New review: Nodal Ninja 3 Mk3 panoramic head
This is the new Nodal Ninja 3 Mk3 with a rich history of 12 years of improvements and research and development. The first version now called NN3 appeared as early as in the year of 2005 and the Mk3 was introduced in December 2017.
On the same design as its big sister, the Nodal Ninja 6 (which replaces the Nodal Ninja 4 that I use to make my virtual tours), it is machined with the same care thanks to the latest evolutions of machine tools and makes it the best quality of manufacturing market. Progress against NN3 was therefore possible and is sensitive. It is possible to choose from two positioners: The new Mini V2 and the RD-10. For short, I loved it!

This is the new Nodal Ninja 6 replace the favorite Nodal Ninja 4 to create virtual tours. This new Nodal Ninja 6 benefits from twelve years of improvements and innovations, especially in manufacturing with the latest CNC machines.
The Nodal Ninja is lightweight and compact. Arca-Swiss compatible and like the MKII suitable for reflex cameras with 8 mm fisheye to 200 mm lenses.
They are also particularly compact and well designed. So they really take up very little space in a camera bag. There are several rotators: Rotator RD-10 or RD-16.
